Fresh from the thoroughly entertaining online ho-down between the Deepwood Watchers and Stumpy Darkness, your friendly commissioner was relaxing in RRG Towers. What could possibly make this current glut of Bloodbowl better? And the it came to me...MORE Bloodbowl.
And so, without further ado, I give you Red Rose Gaming Table Top Bloodbowl Season 2! or RRGTTBS2 for short.
The round 1 matches could prove to be interesting…
First up we have new coach Paul's Halfpint Harriers taking on Andy's Nurgle-loving Pus Fingers. The expectation is that the aptly named Beast ‘Slime Trail’ will be tentaclising halflings like flypaper. Tentaclising is a word, right? Hopefully the trees might even things up a little. Rumours are that the star player Deeproot Strongbranch has already started his journey to the Harrier Dome - should be there by this time next month then.
The second match is the Musclefest™ between the beautiful chaos of Butterfly Effect, coached by Stu, and the, possibly, puntastic ‘Iguana Win!’ coached by new recruit Sterling 'Spencer' Shulver. High strength but no skills to speak of means this showdown could be an omnishambles of epic proportions. Expect hilarity…and pain.
And last, but by no means least, we have the gumbo melting pot that is the Talons of Horus take on the potential gumbo ingredient providers Cosmic All Stars. The Talons boast no less than seven separate races that all get along swimmingly thank you very much! Multiculturalism at its finest…take that Old Wexiteers!
