Per Ardua Ad Astra are the words inscribed on the King Of The Wing
trophy and it looks like someone has taken them seriously for once. Step
forward Coach Les who employed a pass and dash strategy to great effect this
season. Not only did his team, Hadoken, lead the league in Completions they
also has the top two performers in Sagat and Dhalsim
Dhalsim used her
rangy frame to great effect but it was Sagat who led the field. Despite sporting
an eye patch, ‘it makes me look like a cool pirate’, she still managed
an impressive five completions in her Rookie season. Two ahead of her team mate
and three ahead of all other challengers, she was instrumental in Hadoken’s
charge to the playoffs.
The sky’s the
limit for this strong-armed lady from the East…looks like she has a long,
illustrious career ahead of her!
Tumbleweed Cup
For those who
don’t know, the Tumbleweed Cup is awarded to the player who makes the most
interceptions in the regular season. It has yet to be claimed. For this season,
as all previous seasons, there’s nothing to report. ROLLOVER!
